 My parents and I are in Bali now. We are staying in Nusa Dua Beach hotel. our room is big and cozy. It is newing the beach.
 This is my second visit to Bali and Bali still wonderful. There are many thing to see and to do here. The beaches and temples are awesaome. the ceremonies are also interesting.
 So far, we  have shopped a lot. I bought some T.shirt and hundreds of wooden accesaries. My mam bought a beautiful ststue and my father bought a large paintin. The paintin is not only beautiful but also very expensive.

 I’m sick of seeing so much rubbish on the roadside. Lastweek,I drove from Woy Woy to Gosford and saw over 200 soft drink cans and 80 bottles on the readside. The recycling and ” Do the right thing ” campaigns obviously  have not worked. Maybe the police should set up “litter” cameras as well as speed cameras to catch motorists who pollute our roads. In South Australia, you pay a deposit of five cents on cans and bottles and this encourages people to return them rather than dump them. New South Wales should introduce this idea immediatly.

 We are having a great a holiday here on the Gold Coast. Yesterday we went to the Movie World.

SIKAP POSITIF TERHADAP PANCASILA SEBAGAI IDEOLOGI TERBUKA


Sikap positif warga Negara terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila terlihat dalam sejarah perjuangan bangsa dan Negara Republik Indonesia. Sejak Proklamasi 17 Agustus 1945 telah terbukti bahwa Pancasila yang merupakan ideology, pandangan hidup bangsa, dan dasar Negara Kesatuan RI benar-benar sesuai dengan kepribadian bangsa dan jiwa bangsa Indonesia serta merupakan sarana untuk mengatasi dan memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi oleh bangsa dan Negara Indonesia.
Pertama, Pancasila hanya akan berkembang kalau segenap komponen masyarakat bersedia bersikap proaktif, terus-menerus melakukan reinterpretasi (penafsiran ulang) terhadap Pancasila dalam suasana dialog kritis –konstruktif. Bila masyarakat bersikap pasif, Pancasila akan makin kehilangan relevansinya. Atau, bias pula Pancasila berubah menjadi ideology tertutup, karena penafsirannya didominasi oleh penguasa atau kelompok masyarakat tertentu.
Kedua, karena terbuka untuk ditafsirkan oleh siapa saja, bias terjadi Pancasila semata-mata ditafsirkan sesuai dengan kepentingan si penafsir.
Sikap positif itu terutama adalah kesediaan segenap komponen masyarakat untuk aktif mengungkapkan pemahamannya mengenai Pancasila.
Sikap positif lain adalah kesediaan segenap komponen bangsa menjadikan nilai-nilai Pancasila makin tampak nyata dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa, dan bernegara sehari-hari.
Sikap positif yang paling dibutuhkan untuk menjadikan Pancasila sebagai ideology terbuka yang berwibawa adalah terus – menerus secara konsisten berjuang memperkecil kesenjangan antara ideal-ideal Pancasila dengan kenyataan kehidupan berbangsa sehari-hari.
Pancasila dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa, bernegara menggunakan berbagai jalur dan penciptaan suasana yang menunjang, perlu dimasyarakatkan dan dibudayakan dengan cara antara lain sebagai berikut.
1. Jalur Pendidikan
Pasal 6 ayat (1) menyatakan “Setiap warga Negara yang berusia tujuh tahun sampai dengan lima belas tahun wajib mengikuti pendidikan dasar”.
a. Pendidikan Informal
Pemerintah berusaha meningkatkan kualitas lembaga pendidikan yang diselenggarakan, baik oleh masyarakat maupun pemerintah untuk memantapkan system pendidikan yang efektif dan efisien dalam menghadapi perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni.
Sesuai dengan Undang-Undang No. 20 Tahun 2003, kegiatan pendidikan informal yang dilakukan oleh keluarga dan lingkungan berbentuk kegiatan secara mandiri. Setelah peserta didik lulus ujian sesuai dengan standar nasional pendidikan, yang PP No. 19 Tahun 2005 tentang Standar Nasional Pendidikan.
Keluarga merupakan tempat pendidikan yang utama dan pertama bagi semua anak. Keluarga harus menjadi wadah pembentukan insane Pancasila dan sekaligus menjadi pangkal pembentukan masyarakat Pancasila.
b. Pendidikan Formal
Pemerintah harus mengupayakan perluasan dan pemerataan kesempatan memperoleh pendidikan yang bermutu tinggi bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia, menuju terciptanya manusia Indonesia berkualitas tinggi dengan peningkatan anggaran pendidikan secara berarti.
Pendidikan formal terdiri atas pendidikan dasar, pendidikan menengah, dan perguruan tinggi.
Terciptanya suasana belajar yang didasari oleh nilai luhur Pancasila sangat diperlukan di sekolah. Di sekolah terjalin hubungan yang harmonis dan penuh rasa kekeluargaan antara guru, karyawan dan siswa.
c. Pendidikan Nonformal
Undang-Undang No. 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional, bahwa pendidikan nonformal diselenggarakan bagi warga masyarakat yang memerlukan layanan pendidikan formal dalam rangka mendukung pendidikan serta berfungsi sebagai pengganti, penambah, dan pelengkap pendidikan formal dalam rangka mendukung pendidikan sepanjang hayat.

Media massa dapat dijadikan wahana bagi pendidikan Pancasila yang demokrasi, baik media modern seperti pers, radio, televise, dan internet maupun media tradisional, seperti aneka macam kesenian rakyat, wayang, ludruk, ketoprak, dan dolanan anak-anak. Penampilan media massa diarahkan untuk membawa misi permasyarakatan dan pancasila sebagai dasar Negara dan nilai-nilai demokrasi.
Menurut Undang-Undang No. 40 Tahun 1999 tentang Pers, peranan pers nasional adalah
a. Memenuhi hak masyarakat untuk mengetahui
b. Menegakkan nilai-nilai dasar demokratis, mendorong terwujudnya supremasi hokum dan hak asasi manusia, serta menghormati kebhinekaan;
c. Mengembangkan pendapat umum berdasarkan informasi yang tepat, akurat, dan benar;
d. Melakukan pengawasan, kritik, koreksi, dan saran terhadap hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan kepentingan umum;
e. Memperjuangkan keadilan dan kebenaran.
3. Jalur Organisasi Politik, Organisasi Sosial Kemasyarakatan, dan Pranata Sosial
Khusus bagi partai politik seperti dalam pasal 6 Undang-Undang No. 31 Tahun 2002 tentang Partai Politik, ditegaskan tujuan partai politik adalah :
a. Mewujudkan cita-cita nasional bangsa Indonesia sebagaimana tercantum dalam Pembukaan UUD 1945
b. Mengembangkan kehidupan demokrasi berdasarkan Pancasila dengan menjunjung tinggi kedaulatan rakyat dalam Negara Kesatuan RI;
c. Mewujudkan kesejahteraan bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia.
Fungsi partai politik antara lain adalah mendidik politik bagi anggotanya dan masyarakat luas agar menjadi warga Negara Republik Indonesia yang sadar akan hak dan kewajibannya dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa, dan bernegara. Selain itu, partai politik juga berfungsi sebagai perekat persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa untuk mensejahterakan masyarakat.
