Antivirus ini mampu dijalankan bersamaan dengan antivirus asing lainnya. Sehingga Anda dapat melindungi komputer Anda dari serangan virus lokal maupun virus global. Antivirus ini selain berjalan menggunakan engine sendiri, bisa juga menggunakan engine dari ClamAV sebagai plug-in yang diklaim akan mampu mendeteksi virus lebih banyak.

Namun sayangnya, antivirus yang dimulai dari awal 2006 ini, proses scanning-nya terlalu lama. Sehingga bagi Anda yang memiliki spesifikasi komputer rendah, Anda harus sedikit bersabar karena perfoma komputer Anda akan sedikit menurun. Saat ini PCMAV 4.1 telah dirilis, yang mampu mengenali 3.494 virus dan variannya.

3 Ansav

Antivirus buatan Indonesia lainnya yang cukup populer adalah Ansav. Antivirus ini mempunyai ukuran yang cukup kecil, yakni sekitar 800 KB. Selain bisa digunakan untuk membasmi virus, Ansav juga bisa digunakan untuk memperbaiki sistem registry yang dirusak oleh virus. Uniknya antivirus ini memiliki 4 bahasa yakni: Inggris, Jawa, Palembang, dan Indonesia.

Antivirus ini cocok dipakai pengguna komputer rumahan. Software ini dibuat oleh perusahaan Grisoft ini pertama kali dikeluarkan sekitar tahun 1991. AVG cukup serius menangani permasalahan virus. AVG juga dilengkapi anti-spywareyang memiliki banyak kegunaaan seperti mendeteksi dan mencegah spyware,adware, trojan , virus, worm, hijacker, spy-bot, pop-up dan memblokir software dari situs yang berpotensi berbahaya ketika terhubung internet.

2. Avast! Professional Edition 5.0.252 Beta

Avast ditujukan untuk pengguna rumahan. Avast mendapat penilaian bagus dari beberapa situs downlad untuk sistem keamanan terhadap virus. Avast dikembangkan oleh ALWIL Software yang berpusat di Prague, Republik Ceko. Keunggulan dari Avast yaitu kemampuan mengatur pendeteksian file ketika men-download file, instant message, atau e-mail. Serta fitur seperti anti-rootkit dan anti-spyware.
3. Avira AntiVir Premium 9.0.0.452 Full
Avira merupakan antivirus yang ditujukan untuk pengguna komputer rumahan dan tidak dianjurkan untuk perusahaan. Dikembangkan oleh perusaah Jerman yakni “H+BEDV Datentechnik GmbH”. Keunggulan Avira adalah mampu mendeteksi virus yang tidak terdeteksi oleh antivirus lain, pemakaian memori yang relatif kecil, fasilitas mencari nama virus yang terdaftar dan update virus definition yang relatif cepat. Avira juga mampu mendeteksi virus trojan atau worm virus.

4. Kaspersky Internet Security 2010
Dikembangkan oleh Kaspersky Lab yang berpusat di Moskow, Russia. Pada tahun 2005 Kaspersky termasuk 100 perusahaan yang berperan penting dalam inovasi teknologi.
Saat ini Kaspersky antivirus merupakan antivirus paling banyak digunakan.

5. Smadav
Smadav adalah antivirus asli buatan Indonesia. Bertujuan untuk mengamankan komputer Anda dari serangan virus lokal. Keunggulan dari Smadav antara lain scanning virus yang cepat, secara otomatis men-scan flashdisk dengan cepat, dan auto update di Vista dan Win 7.

6. PCMAV 2.2a
Sama seperti Smadav, antivirus ini adalah buatan anak bangsa. Dibuat oleh PC Media. Antivirus ini bisa di dapat juga dari majalah PC Media atau Koran PC Mild. Antivirus ini diklaim sebagai antivirus terbaik buatan Indonesia. Keunggulan PCMAV adalah adanya engine hooking RTP dan selalu meng-update virus-virus yang merajalela di Indonesia.

7. McAfee Total Protection 2009
Dibuat oleh McAfee Inc. yang berpusat di Santa Clara, California. Keunggulannya adalah easy to use, adanya anti-spam dan anti-spyware, cepat dalam proses scanning, dan adanya system guards.

8. Norton Internet Security 2010
Dikembangkan oleh Symantec Corp. Antivirus ini menawarkan keamanan komputer, web, backup dan alat pemeliharaan komputer. Norton memiliki pelindung terhadap virus, trojan, spyware dan adware

Dalam artikel blog saya kali ini saya akan membahas tentang software-software yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat website, disini saya akan memberikan sebuah alternatif, kenapa saya sebut alternatif karena software yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat website cukup banyak sesuai dengan kebutuhan orang yang membuat website tersebut, dan disini saya tidak menjelaskan semua software yang dapat dipakai, tetapi hanya beberapa saja.

Secara terminologi, website adalah kumpulan dari halaman-halaman situs, yang biasanya terangkum dalam sebuah domain atau subdomain, yang tempatnya berada di dalam World Wide Web (WWW) di Internet. Tentunya untuk membuat sebuah website dibutuhkan software-software yang mampu mendukung untuk menciptakan suatu design yang unik dan sesuai dengan keinginan/daya kreatifitas designer untuk kepuasan client maupun personal. Saat ini sudah tersedia berbagai macam software pendukung yang dapat digunakan untuk kebutuhan membuat web site dari design web sampai mengupload data yg pada akhirnya tercipta suguhan karya web & blog dalam dunia maya “internet” yg bisa dilihat dengan web browser.

Istilah lainnya adalah CMS (Content Management System), Menyatukan keseluruhan gambar dan tata letak desain, animasi, mengisi halaman web dengan teks dan bahasa script, salah satu software yang dapat digunakan adalah : Macromedia Dreamweaver dan Joomla

Macromedia Dreamweaver adalah sebuah editor web profesional yang digunakan untuk mendesain dan mengelola situs Web atau halaman Web. Dreamweaver paling sering digunakan oleh Web desainer atau Web programmer dalam mengembangkan suatu situs Web. Hal ini disebabkan area kerja, fasilitas, dan kemampuan Dreamweaver yang makin powerful dan menunjang peningkatan produktifitas dan efektifitas untuk mendesain atau membangun situs web. Dreamweaver juga dilengkapi dengan fasilitas untuk manajemen situs yang cukup lengkap, namun kelemahannya :  software ini berlicensi atau berbayar untuk pemakaian yang sebenarnya.

Joomla adalah Sistem manajemen konten (SMK atau CMS) yang bebas dan terbuka (free opensource) ditulis menggunakan PHP dan basisdata MySQL untuk keperluan di internet maupun intranet. Joomla pertamakali dirilis dengan versi 1.0.0. Fitur-fitur Joomla! diantaranya adalah sistem caching untuk peningkatan performansi, RSS, blogs, poling, dll. Joomla! menggunakan lisensi GPL.

Asal kata Joomla sendiri berasal dari kata Swahili yang mengandung arti "kebersamaan".

Software Design :

Untuk membuat sebuah design pada website kita bisa menggunakan "Adobe Photoshop".

Adobe Photoshop atau biasa disebut Photoshop, adalah perangkat lunak editor citra buatan Adobe Systems yang dikhususkan untuk pengeditan foto/gambar dan pembuatan efek, yang juga bisa digunakan untuk membuat sebuah design web.

Kelebihan dari Adobe Photoshop : banyak fitur-fitur yang dapat digunakan untuk mengedit gambar sehingga kita dapat mengedit gambar sampai se-detail mungkin sesuai dengan keinginan kita, sedangkan kekurangan atau kelemahannya software ini berlicensi atau berbayar untuk pemakaian yang sebenarnya.

Software Animasi :

Untuk menambahkan animasi agar kelihatan lebih menarik dan hidup, kita dapat menggunakan software seperti : Macromedia Flash untuk menampilkan animasi berbasis vector yang berukuran kecil.

Software Upload :

File html diletakkan ( upload ) di suatu tempat ( hosting ) agar orang dapat melihat homepage di internet, kita dapat menggunakan software :

FileZilla FTP : free FTP yang lebih sering atau lebih banyak dipakai oleh para bloger, karena memiliki beberapa keunggulan : diantaranya adalah dapat melakukan transfer file lebih dari satu secara bersamaan sehingga proses transfer banyak file dapat berjalan dengan cepat, namun kelemahannya sofware ini tidak open source.
